These are the plans presented to the Cranbrook Parish Council (December 13th 2007) by Roy Bullock and Rob Coterrill from TWBC regarding their ideas for a redeveloped Library Site. They have cost at least £5,000 of tax payers money to produce.

What the press say (Click on image to see their coverage of TWBC's idea for the Library site)

  • Roy Bullock (TWBC) has always said he wants to sell the Council Offices site for housing.  This has also been recorded at Cabinet level
  • He claims the site is worth £2.1M
  • Our professional advisors have told us of the amounts of money a commercial developer would want to achieve to make a profit
  • The implication being that on the <4000m2 Council Office site 10 new houses would have to be sold for at least £500,000 each  !
  • There is no market for 10 tightly crammed in houses at 1/2 million pounds each.
